As Tumbler mentioned in his April Washington Watch column (second item), Democratic strategist Bob Shrum has written a memoir, No Excuses: Concessions of a Serial Campaigner. Shrum, notoriously, has worked on eight unsuccessful presidential campaigns.

Media coverage of the book has mostly focused on Shrum’s critical take on John Edwards. This extract from the book published by Time magazine has a particularly creepy Edwards anecdote.
