We’d like to introduce you to the latest addition to the magazine, our new strip cartoonist, Stephen Collins. Stephen is a London-based cartoonist and illustrator whose work frequently appears in the Times, GQ, the Guardian and other well-known publications. In 2008 he won the Cartoon Arts Trust award for Best Strip Cartoonist for his work in the Times.

“I try and vary my cartoons as much as possible, from strips to single-frame to maps to graphs to how-to-guides," says Stephen. "I've even tried scratch and sniff and 3D. They can be massively wordy or completely silent—half the fun for me is just trying something different. “

You can find his strip at the end of our Opinions section every month—poking gentle fun at the vagaries and contradictions of life, the universe and everything. We think it’s terrific, but check it out for yourselves.
