Thursday 5th June 6.30pm to 8.00pm Prospect magazine 23 Savile Row W1S 2ET

Prospect and Canning House invite you to an evening with Michael Reid, the award-winning Economist and Latin America columnist, and Jonathan Derbyshire, Prospect's Managing Editor, to discuss the future of this complex developing nation.

Brazil is the world’s seventh largest economy and is on course to become a defining global power by 2030. Yet, far more attention has been paid to the other rising behemoths, Russia, India and China. Often ignored and underappreciated, Brazil has many challenges to face and it is vital to start examining them.

The talk will be followed by audience debate and discussion.

The ticket price includes soft drinks, beer or wine on the terrace with the speakers and other guests after the event.
