The growth solution Adam Posen has a number of useful ideas, some of which I articulated quite some time ago (“What next?”). Much of the British policy elite, irrespective of the political aisle they occupy, have been obsessed with trying to apportion blame for what happened in 2008. It has long been time to move on, and get growth back to our probable underlying trend of 2.5 per cent.
