More than 50 people have died following a mass shooting in Las Vegas

Police have confirmed that over 50 people are dead with more than 200 injured following a shooting at the Mandalay Bay Resort in Las Vegas. The shots were fired from the 32nd floor of the hotel, striking revellers who had gathered for a country music festival.

The suspect has been named as a 64-year-old white man named Stephen Paddock. According to Las Vegas Police, he has been killed, and a female companion who had been named as a “person of interest” has now been found.
