Behind the scenes: how we created Think Again, a collection of Prospect’s finest writing

How do you turn fifteen years of Prospect articles into one volume? That’s the challenge that the editors faced putting together the new 25th anniversary collection, Think Again. We asked Head of Digital Chris Tilbury about choosing the pieces, what he hopes readers will get from it—and why you need to read an essay about Bob Dylan

This is obviously a huge project—how did you begin choosing articles for the collection?

Back in 2005, then Prospect Editor David Goodhart produced an anthology to celebrate Prospect’s 10th anniversary and chose to include the finest writing the magazine had published over that period.

This was a natural starting point for the 25th anniversary collection—but was naturally only going to be a building block for our new edition, Think Again.
