Stephen Collins, a regular contributor to Prospect has won the 2010 Cape/Observer Graphic Short Story Prize. Collins's winning story, Room 208, is the strange tale of a honeymooning couple who find themselves unable to leave their hotel. The judging panel, which included David Hughes and Audrey Niffenegger, praised the "strikingly weird" work for its superb illustration and skillful storytelling.
