The stunning new gallery, dedicated to mathematics, is funded by the single largest individual donation in the Science Museum’s history. Designed by the late Zaha Hadid to resemble a wind tunnel, the £5m permanent exhibition, an architectural destination in itself, will show artefacts and exhibits from the Renaissance onwards.
