James Lasdun

James Lasdun was the winner of last year's inaugural National Short Story Prize. He was born in Britain in 1958 and now lives in America. He has published two collections of short stories, The Silver Age and Three Evenings, as well as three books of poetry. Jonathan Cape published his first novel, The Horned Man, in 2002, and his second, Seven Lies, in 2006.
