20th May, 6.30pm, Prospect, 23 Savile Row, London W1S 2ET

Prospect invites you to an evening with John Campbell, one of Britain's leading political biographers. After acclaimed lives of Margaret Thatcher, Edward Heath, Aneurin Bevan and Lloyd George, Campbell has turned his attention to Roy Jenkins, often described as the best Prime Minister Britain never had.

Roy Jenkins: A Well-Rounded Life offers a vivid portrait of a reforming Home Secretary, passionate pro-European and breaker of the two-party "mould" of British politics. Campbell will discuss Jenkins's life and legacy with our Managing Editor, Jonathan Derbyshire.

Hosted at the Prospect office, tickets for this event are extremely limited. The price includes wine, soft drinks and canapes with the speakers after the talk.

Prospect subscribers - £10

General ticket – £12.50
