If you are not yet using your subscription to access the Prospect website and app, why not start today? You’ll be able to read new stories every day and enjoy Prospect on-the-go via our new upgraded app. This new app gives you the ability to play and queue audio versions of print stories and allows you to delve into the online archive, including 28 years’ worth of Prospect content on the subjects that matter.
Subscribed but haven’t yet registered on the website
If you have taken out a subscription to Prospect and haven’t previously registered with us on the website, you will need to do so to activate your digital subscription. To do this:
- Click "Log in" at the top of the web browser. If you are using a mobile device, tap the account icon in the top right of the screen and then tap “Log in”.
- Click or tap "I don't have an account" at the bottom of the login pop-up.
- On this registration screen, simply enter the email address associated with your subscription, check the "stay logged in" box and click “sign up”.
You will now have activated your digital subscription and will have full access to all our journalism. If you ever find yourself logged out of the website, all you need to do is click or tap "Log in", enter the email address associated with your subscription, and follow the authentication instructions provided on screen.
Logging in to the website
To log in to the website, please follow these steps. Note that if you have not previously done so, you will need to register first. Please see the above section for details of how to do this.
- Click the white “Log in” button in the header of the website shown in the blue circle in the first image below. If you’re logging in on a mobile device, tap the account icon in the top right of the screen, as shown in the second image—and then the “Log in” button.
- Enter the email address associated with your subscription into the pop-up box. This will trigger the sending of an email to your inbox containing a six-digit code.
- Enter the code into the box on the website to complete the log-in process.
Logging into the app
If you have an active bundle or digital-only subscription to Prospect, you can also access stories via our updated app. As well as recent magazine issues and every story published on our website, the app also contains our podcasts, allows you to listen to audio versions of magazine articles and lets you save stories to read later.
Logging in with your Prospect subscription
If you have a direct subscription to Prospect or previously had an app subscription with Jellyfish/MagCloner, please follow these instructions:
- Download the Prospect app from either the Google Play Store or Apple App Store.
- Click the settings cog in the top right of the screen on the “Home” tab of the app.
- Tap “Log in”. A pop-up will appear asking to use Piano.io to log in to the app. Press continue: this is Prospect’s login and authentication system.
- Enter the email address associated with your subscription and tap “Log in”. This will trigger the sending of an email to your inbox containing a six-digit code.
- Enter the code into the box inside the app to complete the process.
Logging in with a new or existing in-app subscription
If you have previously purchased a subscription to Prospect via an in-app purchase through the Google Play or Apple App Stores, you can access the app and make use of the great new features.
Please follow these steps to gain access:
- Click the settings cog in the top right of the screen on the “Home” tab of the app.
- Tap “Restore” or “Restore purchase”.
- After a few seconds you should see a message letting you know that your previous purchases have been restored.
Registered with Prospect but not yet a subscriber
If you've registered with us to read more content, you now have an account on the Prospect website. The instructions for logging in to this account are the same as for subscribers:
- Click the white “Log in” button in the header of the website shown in the blue circle in the first image below. If you’re logging in on a mobile device, tap the account icon in the top right of the screen, as shown in the second image—and then the “Log in” button.
- Enter the email address associated with your registration into the pop-up box. This will trigger the sending of an email to your inbox containing a six-digit code.
- Enter the code into the box on the website to complete the login process.
Making changes to your Prospect subscription?
To make changes to your subscription, once signed into the website please click or tap on "my account". If you're using a mobile device or tablet, this will become visible after tapping the icon in the top right of the screen again. From there you will be able to sign in and make changes to your address and / or payment information.
