World Thinkers 2014: Marilynne Robinson

Marilynne_RobinsonBy the end of this year, the Pulitzer prize-winning author will have published just four novels in a career spanning over 30 years. Each one has been hailed as a masterpiece and won Robinson international acclaim. Earlier this year, she was a finalist for the International Man Booker for the second time. And in 2012, she was awarded a National Humanities Medal by President Obama, for “her grace and intelligence in writing.” She lives in America’s Midwest and teaches at the University of Iowa Writers’ Workshop.
