Michael Sandel is an American philosopher. He is a professor at Harvard, where he has taught political philosophy since 1980. Sandel is best known for his popular “Justice” course, which is attended by over 1000 students and free to view online. Writing in the Washington Post, Michael Gerson described Sandel as “perhaps the most prominent college professor in America.” His most recent book is What Money Can’t Buy: The Moral Limits of Markets (2012).
