David Grossman is a celebrated Israeli author known for his fiction and journalism. He has been one of the most outspoken critics of the Israeli occupation of Palestinian territories and is a strong advocate of the two-state solution. Reviewing Grossman’s latest novel To the End of the Land (2010) in the New York Times, Colm Tóibín described it as “one of the few novels that feel as though they have made a difference to the world.”
