Chen-GuangchengChen Guangcheng is a Chinese lawyer and civil rights activist. Blind from a young age, he rose to global prominence after campaigning against late-term abortions and sterilisations in his native China. Imprisoned between 2006 and 2010, upon his release he was placed under virtual house arrest. In 2012 he managed to flee to the US.
