Founded in 1694, the Bank of England is one of the oldest central banks in the world. This long-awaited official history by David Kynaston—Till Time’s Last Sand—takes us through the dramatic stories, and the key debates around the bank’s purpose and influence. This event will be of great interest to anyone who is involved with banking or economics—and also anyone who wants to know what the powerful people who run our economy really get up to.
