On Wednesday 21st September, Prospect hosted a debate titled "Brexit: the end of austerity?" in the auditorium below its offices. Below, you can listen to it.

On the panel were Paul Johnson, the Director of the Institute for Fiscal Studies, who wrote in Prospect's September issue on the economic challenge that Brexit presents; Rupert Harrison, former Chief of Staff George Osborne, now at BlackRock; Vicky Pryce, Chief Economic Adviser and Board member at the Centre for Economics and Business Research, and leading Brexiter John Redwood, Conservative MP for Wokingham.

Duncan Weldon, former Economics Editor of Newsnight, chaired the lively discussion.
