Andrew Logan’s Gallery, ongoing

Andrew Logan is the creator of the Alternative Miss World. The gallery and studio has everything from extraordinary mirrored sculptures to exquisite earrings and brooches that you will want to own. This is a very special place.

“Siah Armajani: An Ingenious World”, Parasol Unit, 14 Wharf road until 15 December “Idris Khan: Beyond the Black”, Victoria Miro, 16 Wharf road until 9 November

These are two very different exhibitions. Armajani is an Iranian-born public artist living in the US, and on display are poets' rooms and tiny models of bridges and other structures as well as beautiful textiles covered in Persian script from the 1950s. Idris Khan, meanwhile, has created a new range of his abstract, stamped paintings.

“Victoriana: the Art of Revival”, Guildhall Art Gallery until 8 December

An utterly extraordinary exhibition of work by 28 artists inspired by Victorian things. Don't miss Patrick StPaul's Whisper in the Midst of Silence, 2011.

“Shunga: Sex and Pleasure in Japanese Art”, British Museum until 5 January 2014

Japanese painting at its best, with some surprising twists.

“Lawand: Equinox From Beirut to London”, The Mosaic Rooms until 29 November

Powerful figural paintings by the Syrian-Kurdish artist that evoke the suffering of Syria.
