Also online this month is an exclusive interview by ASH Smyth with Dambisa Moyo, former employee of the World Bank and Goldman Sachs and author of Dead Aid: Why Aid Is Not Working and How There Is a Better Way for Africa (Allen Lane). Since its publication earlier this year, Moyo’s book has attracted worldwide attention for its forthright argument that foreign aid is not helping—and perhaps is damaging—most African countries.
